Rules of the Dead Pool!!!
- All decisions of the Judge (Joyce Wiler)
remain final
- Each team drafts 10 players. Order like
the NFL (1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1-1-2-3-4-.....)
- You can only name people that are famous.
Famous people include musicians, major religious leaders,
synod leaders, politicians, actors, and comedians. You
must submit and description of who the person is. Unclear
submissions will be voided (e.g., French directors).
- Drafting of relatives, neighbors, etc. not
acceptable. (Person must be famous)
- Once a player is drafted, that player is
eligible for dead-points. In other words, even if
drafting has not completed, if the player dies, it
counts.
- No mid-season replacements. No free agent
pickups, etc.
- Season ends Dec 31, 1999.
- Questionable drafts can be contested by
any team owner. Resolution will be debated by all league
owners. Judge gets to make the final decision.
- Entry fee is $5.00
- It is not OK to kill someone in order to
boost your team score. All murders by team owners will
result in no points awarded.
- You cannot draft someones career, pet,
automobile. Human beings only!
- Stupid picks (i.e. people already dead)
are your own fault.
- Once someone picks, the next person to
choose has until the next day 5:00 PM CST to make thier
selection. After this point they lose their place and
have to wait until the next time around. All missed picks
will be made up at the end of the draft in the order they
were missed.
